What a precious gem! We stayed here for 9 days. It was such a relaxing and tranquil environment we did not want to leave. We would recommend The Log Cabin to anyone needing a break from the hustle and bustle. Angie was extremely helpful and we had everything we needed. Wood in abundance for the fireplace, which in the winter was a must! Plenty of little details we really appreciated. Hot bath, Warm cosy cabin, soft bed and bedding and throws to snuggle up in front of the fire. I miss the Cabin already! A must for any traveller or even a holiday!
It is located in a safe area surrounded by other houses but is so sheltered by nature that it feels like you are alone in the forest. Is wonderfully centrally located. Close to all the attractions. My children thoroughly enjoyed the upper sleeping deck. The fireplace was wonderful for those cold winter evenings. Enough wood for braai and the fireplace was provided. Wifi worked well. Will definitely stay there again.
We had an incredible stay at The Log Cabin. It's perfect for a couple's getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a great time over Easter weekend! The place is perfectly furnished, the children could walk around safely, the hospitality and kindness of the hostess was very welcoming and the tranquility of the place was just what we needed. Clean, tidy, enough towels and facilities, picture beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful weekend at home! We would love to come again.
Thank you very much for the hospitality, we had a wonderful stay! It was very clean with enough attention to detail and it felt like we were deep in the woods. The children enjoyed Netflix and the fireplace created a lovely atmosphere and let us sleep nice and warm.

If someone is looking for tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the city, The Log Cabin is a very good choice. Here you can listen to the screeching call of the blue-crested warbler and if you look closely you can see the red of its wings as it flies away and enjoys the silence of the forest in the evening. What really impressed us was the pride with which everything in the cabin was laid out. Very good taste and cost have not been spared to spoil the guests who will visit. We will use the Log Cabin again, especially during the festive season in Haenertsburg.
What an absolute pleasure to stay at The Log Cabin. It was the perfect weekend break and just what we needed. It was very hard to leave the cabin on Sunday.

Even though we only stayed one night, it was wonderful and Angie was so cute and a great hostess. As my husband says - it felt like we were in another country so among the trees and the house and so nicely furnished. The Log Cabin definitely sees us!
